The estate Serpepe is surrounded by 200 hectares of organically grown area. More than 600 dairy sheep graze freely on the wide meadows and are milked daily. Guests are invited to visit the stables and watch at milking time. Just a few meters away from the house, the white "Chianine" cows can be admired. The extraordinary biological pork products are produced from the wild boars of the breed "Cinta Senese" which roam freely in the surrounding woods.

According to ancient custom, ricotta and high-quality cheese are made from sheep's milk once a week. The pure olive oil "extravergine" is made of olives which grow annually in an olive grove with century-old trees of the variety "Canino". The vegetable gardens and the chicken coops provide every day fresh organic vegetables and eggs.

You can purchase these products and prepare them in the peace and comfort of your rooms to rediscover old long forgotten pleasures.

As a guest in a quiet and pristine environment, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy and simple country life, while looking closely at the old customs and traditions of the region.

Tenuta Serpepe is located in the heart of "Tuscia", the triangle between Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria, in the center of the Etruscan empire. It is located 6 km from Bolsena (island tours and crystal clear bathing water) and 10 km from the thermal baths of Viterbo (reduced prices for our guests).

The area has a very valuable and unique heritage represented by a unique admixture of Etruscan necropolis and medieval churches and castles: a wonderful area full of beauties. - Not by chance, the Etruscans had chosen this area as their home!

Rome is only an hour away; Orvieto, with its breathtaking cathedral, at 30 km; Viterbo, the medieval city of the Popes, at 12 km; the Mediterranean Sea and the archaeological sites of Tarquinia and Vulci are half an hour away.

Furthermore, nearby you will find other friendly and very pretty villages such as Civita di Bagnoregio, Montefiascone, Tuscania, Bomarzo, Capodimonte, Marta, Bolsena. Thanks to the strategic central location, famous art cities such as Siena, Arezzo, Assisi and Florence are within easy reach.

In the country house made of basalt and tuff stone are four beautiful apartments (for 4 to 6 people) with fireplace and two double rooms with private bathrooms, which are tastefully decorated with antique furniture. Attention was paid to every detail in order to create a unique and warm atmosphere (well-equipped kitchens, clean bathrooms, heating, household and bed linen, laundry for shared use).
