Property for exclusive use Typical country house in stone, 300 sq. m. with 3 double bedrooms, a triple bedroom and 3 bathrooms for up to 9 persons. The villa is completely enclosed and has a large garden with private swimming pool, an outdoor area perfect for meals, a barbecue, Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The property is ideal for those looking for a peaceful holiday in a calm, quiet area. Outdoors and Swimming Pool The outdoor area has a large, well-kept garden, mostly lawn with various kinds of trees, bushes and flowers. The rectangular pool has a hydromassage area and measures 6 metres by 12 with a depth of 1.5 metres, in a panoramic position underneath the house in a shaded area which can be reached via a stone staircase. All around the pool are sunbeds and beach chairs for relaxing in the sun or under the pergola and there is also an outdoor shower. The dining area leads to a shaded space under a gazebo with a table, chairs and portable barbecue for outdoor meals. Parking within the property.
Interior The villa is on two floors and the restoration has conserved all original characteristics like the visible stone on some walls, typical arches and wood beams on the ceilings. The ground floor boasts a large, bright living room with sofas and armchairs, a fireplace and satellite TV, with a brick arch leading to the dining room with outdoor access. Four steps will take you down to the kitchen, complete with utensils and with outdoor access, with a bathroom with shower rounding up this area. A wooden staircase from the living room leads up to the first floor (there is also an outdoor staircase) with 2 double bedrooms, one of which has a bathroom with shower and bathtub, one bedroom with two beds, one bedroom with three single beds and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. Location Casa Chiara is in a quiet area in the green hills between Tuscany and Umbria, near a small, ancient village and is surrounded by marvellous woods with oak and chestnut trees. Facilities The villa has Wi-Fi, central heating, baby bed, high chair, hair dryer and parking. Services The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen along with swimming towels (all changed weekly), internet, water, gas, electricity, baby bed and high chair. Upon request and to be paid for at the house are cookery courses, hired help, babysitter and tastings. Important Information Small pets are permitted. Swimming pool available from June 1st to September 30th, 8 am-10pm.
Activities and Distances Casa Chiara is in a strategic position near to Cortona with its tall Etruscan walls, Perugia and Assisi. We strongly recommend visiting Lake Trasimeno, where you can eat in one of the many small restaurants and even hire a boat. Many smaller Tuscan towns are also nearby and we suggest a day trip to the city of Arezzo. Golf lovers have a golf course which is just a half-hour’s drive away. 3.5 km Preggio, 10 km Lisciano Niccone, 12 km Castel Rigone, 17 km Umbertide, 27 km Cortona, 30 km Perugia, 38 km Lake Trasimeno, 60 km Assisi, 70 km Arezzo.
