The small town Floridia is about 12 km away from Syracuse and 109 m above sea level. It was founded in 1628 and today it has a population of about 23,000 residents. A blooming and peaceful countryside surrounds the town, allowing a relaxing holiday in a Mediterranean landscape. For all those looking for the waves of the sea, the sandy beach of Fontane Bianche and a beautiful rocky coastline are less than 20 km away from Floridia. Villa Monasteri (8 pers.) This exclusive detached house with private pool is located in an idyllic Sicilian countryside, just 4 km away from Floridia and less than 500 m from an exclusive golf resort. The entire plot of about 9,000 sqm extends over contemplative silence. Crossing the gate, you are welcomed by a small newly planted olive grove. This house has been recently built in 2015. The nature which surrounds the house is charming and outdoor spaces make it possible to experience it directly. Handmade Sicilian walls and Mediterranean plants surround the relaxing holiday house. On the rear of the property, surrounded by scenic hills and a well-kept lawn, is the private pool (14x6,5 m, open from 01/04 to 31/10). The pool water is salt water generated through the use of electrolysis to continuously obtain free chlorine water. This pool water is much more skin-friendly and milder than the chlorine water of a normal pool. Outdoor barbecue (gas at extra cost) and garden furniture available. Adjacent to the pool is another bathroom with toilet, sink and outdoor shower.

The holiday accommodation offers its guests an impressive living space of approximately 290 square metres for eight people with four bedrooms, which is divided into two living levels. Such a significant living space naturally wants to be equipped accordingly, and here the owner has put a lot of love and affection into his work. Everything the holiday heart desires is offered here:
The entrance door is the prelude to this elegant, modern and at the same time comfortable dream house. The living room, bright and "arioso" with a high wooden roof, looks to the left onto an open fireplace in front of which there is a comfortable sofa that invites you to spend romantic moments. For the less romantic, there is also an LCD with satellite TV and air conditioning. On the right side of the living room there is a reading corner which, thanks to the sliding glass door, forms a picturesque frame overlooking the pool and the hilly landscape.
The living room is also the hub to the rooms of the house. From here you reach the two bedrooms on the ground floor, each with a double bed, LCD TV and air conditioning. One of the two bedrooms has an en suite bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Another bathroom has a shower, WC and bidet.
Also on the ground floor is the very spacious, habitable and modern kitchen with four electric hotplates, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, LCD TV and panoramic windows overlooking the surrounding countryside which makes kitchen duties easier. A petrol pump with 5 litres of fresh beer (extra charge) is available. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small room with a sink, washing machine and separate toilet for the disabled. Through the sliding glass door of the kitchen, which overlooks the pool and the countryside, you can comfortably reach the veranda, an ideal place for al fresco dining.
From the living room, a comfortable staircase leads to the first floor with the two additional bedrooms, each with a double bed, LCD TV and air conditioning. Also in this case, one bedroom offers an elegant en suite bathroom with handmade tiles, shower, WC and bidet.
The fact that all the windows of the house flood the rooms with light and Mediterranean colours is almost self-evident but definitely worth mentioning. Wi-Fi, baby cot, high chair and children's toys are available and included in the price, as well as an alarm system with TVCC.. Parking lot inside. For the duration of the stay, a rental car is recommended. If you leave the kitchen not cleaned (dishes washed and tided up, garbage thrown away, sink and kitchen furniture cleaned up), 50 € are required for this extra cleaning.
