L’Uliveto is a marvelous and charming stone farmhouse, recently restored from an old barn which served an ancient manor dating back to the 18th century. It’s located in one of the most idyllic areas of the mountains surrounding Cortona, 700mts above sea level, immersed in forests of oak and chestnut trees, with beautiful views of the valley that can be admired from the garden where also is, beautifully set, the relaxing and private swimming pool. In the surroundings you will be able to enjoy relaxing walks through peaceful paths and country roads in the woods and, if you're lucky, you will be able to spot beautiful wild animals such as deer and falcons. The charming original stone pavements, the wood beams, the walls and the arches inside the farmhouse have been preserved and carefully restored and the furniture is welcoming and comfortable. Guests can also have dinners and meals prepared by the owner, on request, as well as cooking classes, in order to savor the best Tuscan dishes and enjoy this region at its best! Guests are invited to visit the farmhouse just 2 km away from the villa, where several animals are bred and where local products are produced. They can be tasted and purchased. The Villa is 120 sqm disposed on two levels. Ground floor: living/dining room with kitchenette and fireplace, bathroom with shower. First floor: internal access from the ground floor through a stone staircase to three double bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, oven, dishwasher, Sat TV and american coffee machine.
