Property for exclusive use This ancient and evocative Villa Lante, dating back to the 15th century, is found in a small and secluded valley in the Mugello area, on the edge of a tiny village. Entirely surrounded by woods and small fields, the landscape has a relaxing effect giving off an aura of undisturbed calm. There are various leisure activities: apart from the city of Florence which is 30 minutes away by car or train, there are several small towns which deserve a visit. Vicchio, Giotto’s birthplace, Scarperia with its Palazzo Pretorio and the golf course, Lake Bilancino where swimming is allowed and more. For hikers, there are numerous itineraries in the highlands with various levels of difficulty. And in the end, for lovers of shopping, there is the large McArthurGlen outlet in Barberino del Mugello with the most famous fashion designer brands. At the back of the villa is the Italian garden and, once across a small bridge over a stream, there is the swimming pool (8x4.5, 1.40m deep)(01/05-30/09) with an outdoor shower. A barbeque area with tables and chairs is just right for outdoor meals under ancient trees. The accommodation has central heating. Included in the price is a maid service 4 hours a day and a baby bed. A maid, ready-made meals, shopping delivery service and laundry service can all be requested when booking and paid for on location. Car park on the property. PLEASE NOTE: Guests can choose the rooms where to stay but there mustn’t be more than 10 people in all. Non-smokers accommodation. The use of the laundry room and the dishwasher is only for the service staff. Arrivals must be between 4.00pm and 8.00pm.
