Property for exclusive use Typical converted stone barn, 130 sq. m., holding up to 6 persons with 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house has two large verandas perfect for outdoor meals, a barbecue, large garden and private swimming pool and is an ideal solution for groups of friends or families with children who love relaxing outdoors. Outdoor Areas and Swimming Pool The house is immersed in nature and is encircled by a large enclosed garden, all lawn, where you will find the rectangular swimming pool, 11 metres by 6 with a depth of 1.45 metres, surrounded by a paved area with sunbeds and beach umbrellas. Beside the pool, you will find a shaded area with table and barbecue for outdoor meals. The house boasts a large panoramic portico, furnished with a table and chairs, accessible from the living room. Next to the barn, with outdoor access, is a washing room with washing machine. Parking in the property.
Interior The structure has been carefully restored whilst maintaining traditional aspects, like wood beams on the ceilings and typical Tuscan cotto flooring. The furniture is in a rustic style. The house is on two floors. On the ground floor, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with antique stone sink and a living area with a sofa, a splendid ornamental fireplace, a satellite TV with DVD player. Also on the ground floor, a twin bedded room and a bathroom with shower. The first floor has two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Location Fienile di Cafaggiola is in the countryside near San Gimignano, in a quiet, panoramic area just a few kilometres from the well-known town. Facilities The property has central heating, internet connection, baby bed and parking in the property. Services The price includes bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen (changed weekly), water, light and gas consumptions, final cleaning, internet connection and baby bed. Upon request and to be paid for at the property are dinners, hired help, cookery courses, babysitter, wine and oil tastings, horse riding. Important Information Pool available from May 9th to October 3rd. Check-in from 3-7pm only. Only small pets are allowed, at the fee of 50 euros per week. The staircase which leads to the upper floor has no banister, meaning that children have to be supervised and the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Activities and Distances Fienile di Cafaggiola is on the hills of San Gimignano, medieval town with its world-famous towers. You can visit the many beautiful surrounding towns, such as Certaldo, home to Boccaccio; Volterra, Etruscan town of excellence; Pisa and many others. The Via Francigena is one of the most interesting roads to explore by foot or mountain bike. Siena is also not far, as is Florence. 4 km San Gimignano, 13 km Certaldo, 32 km Volterra, 49 km Siena, 55 km Florence, 78 km Pisa.
