Eigentum zur ausschließlichen Nutzung Villa Martina is a luxurious farmhouse with outbuilding, ideal for 12 persons with 6 double bedrooms, 5 complete bathrooms and a small one. It boasts a private spa, a swimming pool, heated Jacuzzi, a large garden with gazebo, stone barbecue and children’s games. The villa is perfect for large families or groups of friends who seek a relaxing holiday. Outdoors and Swimming Pool The villa has a large park lined with oak and olive trees, flowers and lemon trees in ancient terracotta vases, mostly lawn with traditional stone paving. A set of stairs takes you to the pool, in a panoramic position with a 360° view of the surrounding hills, scattered with vineyards. The pool is 16 metres by 7.5 with a depth of 0.5-2.4 metres and is also perfect for swimming. The bathing area around the pool is paved with stone and complete with beach umbrellas, sunbeds, a Jacuzzi which can be heated on request (available from April to October) and a stone barbecue for outdoor meals and parties. A garden behind the villa has a charming gazebo with table and chairs for breakfasts and an area with children’s games. You reach the property from a small road lined with cypress trees leading to the entrance gate. Parking within the property.
Interior Villa Martina has been carefully restored with elegance: the wood-beamed ceilings, the paving and the furniture made of precious wood in black and white create a pleasing, contrasting yet harmonious atmosphere. The main building is on the ground floor and leads to a bright veranda, with fireplace and sofas, from which you can reach the billiard room with bar, the kitchen, the dining room with fireplace and the TV room. The traditional stone staircase leads to the first floor where there is a spacious living room with a typical Tuscan fireplace and large, comfy sofas, 3 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with two beds, all of which have a private bathroom: 2 with massaging jet bathtub and shower, 2 with shower, all in travertine. The outbuilding next to the main villa is also on two floors. Here you will find a kitchen with dining area on the ground floor, while the first floor has a double bedroom, a bedroom with two beds and a bathroom with shower. Behind the villa, you can reach the lower floor where you will find the spa, with steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi, exclusively for guests. Here there is also a washing room. Location The vill is immersed in the hills of Chianti, near the town of Tavarnelle in a quiet position, with a great view of the surrounding countryside. Facilities The villa has Wi-Fi, central heating, air conditioning, mosquito screens in the bedrooms, outdoor massaging jet tub, spa with steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi, parking. Services The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen as well as swimming towels (all changed weekly),one mid-week towel change, internet, electricity (excluding air conditioning), water, gas (excluding heating), spa usage. Upon request and payment, you can organize cookery courses and dinners, hired help, babysitter, high chair, baby bed, Jacuzzi heating. Important Information Check-in 3:00 - 5:30 pm. Activities and Distances The position of the villa is excellent, in the heart of Chianti, between Siena and Florence. You are also close to famous centres such as San Gimignano and Volterra, as well as to the renowned Via Francigena. We suggest visiting and tasting products of the farms and wine cellars in Chianti, as well as horse riding, hiking and going on excursions. 3 km Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (shops of all kinds and supermarket), 29 km San Gimignano, 30 km Florence, 48 km Siena, 51 km Volterra.
