Outdoors and Swimming pool Villa Elisa is characterized by a large garden of about 3000 m², very well-kept and enriched by terracotta vases, flowers, bushes and a variety of trees, connected by paths to the gardens of the other 3 villas within the farm. At guest's disposal, a porch equipped for outdoor dining with table, chairs and portable barbecue; a few meters from the villa is the rectangular in-ground swimming pool measuring 6x12 meters with a depth of 1.40 meters, furnished with sun loungers, deck chairs, outdoor shower and a gazebo. About 90 meters away, in the garden of Villa Buonvisi, guests can take advantage of a regular-sized tennis court (23.77 x 10.97 meters), shared with the guests of the other 3 villas within the farm. All the outdoor areas are well maintained and cared for. A gate that is always open leads to the property: from here, along about 230 meters of unpaved road, it is possible to reach the private parking.
Interiors The Villa (approximately 400 m²) is on two levels; it has been restored with conservative interventions respecting the traditional architecture of Lucca, and preserving the family's history. All the electrical and water systems were installed recently. Air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms. On the ground floor, one of the entrances opens onto a well-equipped kitchen with a table for 10 people. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small room with an additional fridge with freezer, a washing machine, iron and ironing board. To the right of the entrance there are a double bedroom with outdoor access and a bathroom with shower, both suitable for disabled people. To the left of the entrance there is a comfortable and spacious living room, finely furnished with antique pieces, fireplace, stereo system, sofas and armchairs, a second living room with TV and outdoor access, a small service bathroom. From the living room, via a staircase, we go up to the first floor where we find a twin bedroom (whose beds can be joined), a private bathroom with tub and two sinks accessible via 3 steps, a long corridor with a double bedroom with a canopy bed, a private bathroom with shower, a double bedroom with two windows with private bathroom with tub. At the end of the corridor, going down 6 steps, you access a double bedroom with a canopy bed, two windows and a private bathroom with tub. Location Villa Elisa nestled among the hills a few kilometers from the city of Lucca, is located in a residential area full of villas and historic Tuscan private homes. All around the house, in the property's land, it is possible to take beautiful walks immersed in nature among olive trees and vineyards, or reach the stream with the geese, or enter the wooded area. Excellent tranquility and privacy, particularly suitable for all those who love a holiday dedicated to relaxation, nature and sport. The villa enjoys a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. Facilities The villa is equipped with wifi internet connection, air conditioning in the bedrooms, heating, courtesy set in the bathrooms, baby bed, high chair. Services The price includes the supply of bathroom linen, bed linen, kitchen linen and pool towels (with weekly change), water, electricity, gas, heating, air conditioning, final cleaning, 1 hour of domestic help every day, wifi internet connection, high chair and baby bed. Upon request, there is the possibility of extra hours of domestic help, babysitting, chef, cooking classes. The villa is also suitable for weddings and other types of events.
Activities and Distances The villa is located near the small village of Segromigno in Monte and is part of an estate of 20 hectares of land, purchased by the Bernardini family who transformed wooded areas into vineyards and olive groves that today allow the production of extra virgin olive oil exported all over the world. From Segromigno it is possible to take various hiking trails by bike or on foot. Here there are postcard villages, princely villas, majestic parish churches, an archaeological heritage and a landscape of rolling vineyards, flowers and giant trees such as the "great oak", listed among the monumental trees of Italy. In the area you can visit famous villas such as Villa Torrigiani, a fragment of French beauty transplanted to Tuscany, Villa Reale di Marlia, Villa Mansi, as well as the interesting village of Camellias. It is also advisable to visit the Serchio River Park, flanked by cereal and poplar crops and crossed by the cycle-pedestrian path.
